2014 Sea-Doo Spark Launch Party In Miami, Florida Featuring DeadMau5

Miami Beach, FL – March 23, 2014 – We can’t think of a better way to kick off Winter Music Conference than with a killer poolside show featuring one of the biggest DJ’s in the game. In an epic collaboration, deadmau5 sparked some bangin’ beats during the Sea-Doo Concert, ”Spark Some Fun Miami”, at the Fontainebleau on Sunday evening. The highly anticipated event showcased the spirit, fun and ingenuity behind the Spark model through a lively and colorful musical exhibition. The event also featured an amazing live art installation by graffiti artist David Garibaldi. For 500 lucky fans, “Spark Some Fun Miami” was a once-in-a-lifetime, free concert experience. In the days leading up to the big show anyone could post a photo to Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #SparkSomeFun and followed the prompt to enter to win a pair of tickets to the show. A few celebrities who came out to catch the incredible show include Brody Jenner, Vanilla Ice, and Anne Hathaway.

These are closest SeaDoo Spark Competitors
Mar 05, 2014 - 11:06 AM - by Hunter090
So I did a little research and found that these two jet skis which, as far as I can tell, are the closest to the SeaDoo Spark in terms of price. Having said that, both of the rivals to the Spark are still a good $3,000 more than the Spark.

2011 Kawasaki Jet Ski 800 SX-R

MSRP: $7,899
Riding Position: Standing
Displacement: 781cc
Engine Type: Two-cylinder with crankcase reed valve induction
Stroke: 2-stroke
Dimensions: L-90.6", W-28.7", H-28.9"

2011 Yamaha Waverunner Super Jet

MSRP: $7,899
Riding Position: Standing
Displacement: 701cc
Engine Type: 2-cylinder
Stroke: 2-stroke
Dimensions: L-88.2", W-26.8", H-26"

2014 SeaDoo Spark

MSRP: $4,999
Riding Position: Sit-down
Displacement: 899cc
Engine Type: Rotax 900 ACE
Stroke: 4-stroke
Dimensions: L-110", W-46", H-44"

Ultimately, the SeaDoo Spark seems to win on every metric. It is $3,000 cheaper than the Kawasaki and the Yamaha. It's higher displacement means that it is the most powerful of the bunch, and it is also the only one to have space for more than one person. Finally, the Spark comes with some extra touches that the others don't. The Spark has a front splash deflector, can go in reverse, and comes with a ski tow eye. The cherry on top is that the Spark comes in a myriad of colors compared to the Kawasaki which comes in only black or white, and the Yamaha that only comes in blue.

If this doesn't convince you that the Spark is the best deal, I don't know what will.

Seadoo Spark launch to feature Deadmau5
Feb 20, 2014 - 12:46 PM - by Neptune
The Seadoo Spark is going to be launched at an event called "Spark Some Fun Miami" featuring a live concert by electronic music artist Deadmau5 9one of my faves). The event will take place on March 23rd.

There will be a prize draw for a 2014 Seadoo Spark with a trailer, and a trip for two to the "Spark Some Fun Miami" Deadmau5 concert at the Fontainebleau Miami beach. Head to Sea-Doo Personal Watercraft, Jet Boats, Parts, Wetsuits, and more | Sea-Doo US to enter.

“We are thrilled to announce this collaboration between Sea-Doo and deadmau5,” said Julie Tourville, Marketing Director, North America for Sea-Doo watercraft. “Spark Some Fun Miami will be an amazing musical event that we feel will truly embody the nature of this product as trendsetting, innovative and the most fun experience on the water today. It’s the perfect way to introduce the Sea-Doo Spark to the United States.”
