Just wanted to give some info. On the 14' spark vs. The 15' since I've own both. Both skis are 2 up h.o. 2015 model year and 2014..... anyways. Does not seem like much has changed at all. The only thing I see is the addition of the flush kit and the engine access cover has a latch on it now. (I can up load a picture of this if everyone has not seen it yet). The other thing I have noticed is the the 15' does not have any water in the engine compartment after I'm done riding. The 14' always seems the have about a cup or two of water drain out of it at the end of the day. The 2015 does seem to use less fuel, I assume this is only because it has far less hours on it than the 14'. I don't think sea-doo touched the engine? There was much speculation the doo would increase the price for 2015.... that did not happin.

Agreed, even when I've rolled mine, there has been absolutely no water in the engine compartment. There must be a leak of some sort if you are getting a lot of water in the engine area.
Got to love how that works, how well sealed all of it is, but that's not to say it shouldn't have been, but it's good to see that so far, for the most part, they've built a solid product.

I'm not too worried about it. It's only a very small amount of water at the end of the day only if I ride hard doing 180's and jumping waves. It's not like the older skis I used to ride where you had to run a pump. Honestly I'm really happy with how well it does seal up I would think it would be much worse . Nice job sea-doo ha!!!!!

Nice. Congrats to you lucky bastards that have more than one Spark. That flush kit should have come stock on the 2014s! It seems like the 2014's some people get hull water and some don't. I guess most of it depends on how you ride it but other variables could come in to play. Mine never has any water in the hull when I pull the drain plub and peek inisde it with a flash light after a ride. Interesting with the new side cover. They could have made it a little bigger! LOL.

Has anyone seen the kit you can get to make it so your Spark has top engine access ( like with most skis) ? I wonder if the 2016 or 2017 Sparks will be designed so you don't have to take the whole upper deck off to get all up in her :p LOL.

heh well if that's true

BRP,

Wish list

1) sturdy, metal handle bars
2) easier to flush
3) easier to access engine area
4) easier to access hose that is supposed to be clamped for towing
5) models that come and flush/wash your ski after use while you watch sipping an ice cold lemonade

ya that last one is probably a special order outside of BRP. :)

Can someone with both a 2014 and a 2015 tell me if the engine access cover with the latch from the 15's will fit on a 14? I have a 14 and the cover pops off fairly frequently when jumping waves. If it fits I'd buy a new one to make sure I'm keeping the water out.

I get more water in my boat in one day than on my 2014 spark, I have yet to see any water coming out of my spark, and I haven ridden it over a year over 25 weekends... Wow! Lol..

Took my boat out this weekend to Lake Mead and about 2 cups of water came out... Incredible how sealed the sparks are, now on my way to order the 2015 engine access cover lol :)

My speedster 150 this weekend:
