looks like Dess is going to be an optional accessory for the spark, not sure if it fits this years units or not, I would imagine it would.
and also VTS! again not sure if it will fit on this years models or not, I would imagine it would. but I have a feeling it will only fit IBR models only. I could be wrong, but the Ibr versions already have a trim ring on them just nothing hooked up to it and I don't see Brp making two separate kits. I hope I am wrong otherwise I am going to have a 2 seater for sale!

I'm confused on the key/lanyard on existing Sparks.
Is the key/lanyard on my Spark coded to only work on my Spark or not? I've been told yes and no as an absolute fact.
I purchased a spare key for $30 from the dealer and there is no evidence its specific to my Spark. So I am inclined to believe there is one key for all Sparks.

You can start the Spark if you place a magnet where the key clips on. For 100% security I suggest a hidden cut off switch.So you can take your Spark key or any Spark key and go around and use any person's Spark?

Lets hope it does not cost to much.
I always leave the lanyard in my skies any way I am glad if I lose my key I don't have to pay a dealer to program it for me.
most dealers don't charge much to do it, I've had them done before for about $15, go get a key programmed for your Ford, I had one done before and it cost me $150 just to program it...most people don't need DESS, mine stays in the garage unless we are using them, but for others if they stay at the marina or are on a floating dock or lift at the cottage it is piece of mind for $220 cdn.I always leave the lanyard in my skies any way I am glad if I lose my key I don't have to pay a dealer to program it for me.
