i took the rod out and found it was rather smooth and easy trying to fish on the spark in considerable lake chop!
this thing is suprisingly diverse in the water.
My pole fits perfectly wedged between the rear grab bar and the seat!

Hahah - love it!

I used to fish the Chicago River on my 98 GP 1200R, people thought I was nuts.

Great Multi Purpose Spark.

Thats awesome I might just hav to give this a try.

But hey.. did you end up snagging anything?
Didnt snag anything! My set up was just a rubber worm on a trout hook, I just wanted to see if the spark would hold up and it did well!
I ended up spinning 180 and facing out tward the back of the ski with my feet on the 3up rear extension it was comfortable.
Next time ill try for Bass with some lure action

At least you figured something out. I'll probably do catch and release other wise I'd weigh her down. When I get in to it I mean I GET IN TO IT.

Looking forward to the action ;)

Where are you located?
