All of the tow ropes I have are looped on both sides to hook on to a regular tow hook spot.
Me too. If you could update us when you get done and let us know how the install went I'd appreciate it.

I usually hook up the tow rope and have to leave it hooked up all weekend (when we aren't towing I run it up the side and put the rest in the front storage bin).

It's definitely a first world problem, but if the fix is somewhat easy I'm going to do it this winter.

I used this Rockclimb thing from amazon for $10.
It holds over 5,000 pounds and locks so it cannot come unhooked.
It's like 4 or 4.5 inches long, plenty of room for ropes and stuff.

Works perfectly.

Has anyone installed a tow hook like this onto there spark? I would like to try and install it without taking the top deck off if possible.
I hadn't seen anyone with a final answer, so I thought I would post. I installed the hook on my spark. You do have to remove the top deck, but you also need several washers to push it out or the hook will be in contact with the top deck (can't get rope through).
