I really want one but it's hard to decipher through all the ad BS!! Has anyone not affiliated with a magazine or Seadoo actually ridden one or bought one? I'd really like some feedback from you guys who have even seen one!! I can't find a dealer in Boston area that even has one in stock to look at!!

What exactly are you looking to get out of it? For the price there is nothing that beats it. I don't think there is anyone that can say otherwise.

Is it the best PWC ever? Of course not. Not even close

Its affordable, it works. Its from a well known brand.

If it fits your budget and its the right size and power for you, BUY ONE!

second everything srbz said.

Unless you're willing to dip into the used market you're not going to find a PWC for that price. You're also not going to find something that handles sharper.

No I havent ridden it but I've watched enough videos and poured through enough specs to be EXTREMELY excited for warmer weather.

being up in boston you likely wont see one in showrooms until at least march/april....

I already have a couple older seadoos and this is exactly what I have been dreaming for them to come out with. 4 stroke, light weight and they already have a programmer to turn the 60hp to 109hp which is really where the hp needs to be! I just can't wait to actually see one.

1. WAF (wife approval factor) She picked the Licorice.
2. It is cool looking in any color.
3. It has about 10 different kinds of tupper-ware on it; shiny, smooth, textured, black, white, gray...
4. what srsbz said

I own a 2 seater spark with a reflash mod at 109hp and I really love it. I had the option of buying a used ski or new spark, I went with the spark for these reasons, realibility over a used ski, fun factor and being able to throw it around, fuel economy.

This is not a ski for you if you want to be doing lots of touring or long trips, looking for comfort or want a high top speed.

The spark is fun ski that can be thrown around, its easy to work on and perfect for a first ski, a family that will only use it a few times a year, someone who likes surf jumping or doing tricks.

Im very happy with it and those that have ridden it say the love how it can be thrown around and its just a lot of fun to ride.

Here's another one or two; The gawk factor, apparent value, and other boater/ski comments at the boat launch:

"It looks like its from the Transformers movie"

While I was launching asked one of the guys to guess how much it weighed, "Don't know, but $17,000?" Told him he was 10 grand off and and it weighed a bit over 400; "27 grand?, WOW!" Told him 7K and then the jaw really dropped.

Was in a no wake zone and another guy on a Sea-Doo going the other way asked If I liked it: I gave him a thumbs up as we went by. It had 10 minutes on the clock.

It's really easy to like.

I bet even guys with much more powerful and higher end PWC's will like it.

What part of Boston are you from? What programmer do you have to boost it to 109ho? Would it work on a 90hp motor too and boos that to 139hp? More importantly how much $$$
Vtech is the tuning package you want to look up, but unfortunately it doesn't work the way you hoped. A tune on a 90hp will also net 109hp, at the end of the day the engine is the same in the 60 and 90hp models, the only difference is the tune..

as I mentioned in my introduction 260,255s cant be compaired to eachother.

260s have there faults but power makes you forget them, spark has its faults and with a bit more power you will forget the faults. ( words from a 260 owner)

plenty stock power for everyone but a tune will make it easier I think for big wave jumpers, not to hit the waves but to recover and be ready for the next one
