Battery won't hold charge

At the end of last season, right before I took my Spark in for the post break-in period check up/winterization, I got a low voltage warning. The dealer said everything looked fine to them. At the end of my first ride this season, I got the same error, and my nephew got stranded (after taking the sea doo out after ignoring the warning).

I picked up a new battery on the way to the lake for. Memorial Day weekend, but I saw the same behavior. We limped through the weekend, riding an hour or so per charge and recharging in between.

Any ideas?

check the charge rate ? could be a loose connection , broken wires ect, you would not think so since the skis only a year old , load test the battery, could be number of things,

Take it in to the dealer if it's not holding a charge.

I'm not sure how PWC warranties work but I've had new cars where the battery died within the first year and the dealer replaced it for free under warranty.
Thanks....it's not the battery

The dealer already gave me a new battery under warranty...same behavior.
It's back at the dealer....

I'm just not sure I trust them, since they said everything was good after having it all winter....then I saw the same error the first weekend.
sounds dodgy to me ! get it fixed once and for all, let us know what was the problem was to help the rest of us out if we ever have the same issue! thanks

Have them check the ski over once more, and tell them it's not leaving until the message is no longer displayed. Call BRP if you have to
They think it's the rectifier

But they haven't looked at it yet. I'm steaming.
It could even be their supplier has defective batteries. With a battery I bought from Optima batteries for my car this was the case since they relocated to Mexico, quality of the product took a downturn.
regulator

Sound like an intermittent charging system problem. most likely a voltage regulator. may only cut out after it gets warmed up
Finally...

The marina took a look at it and found a broken wire. It is running great now.
Did you ever figure out the reason for your problem? I am having the same problem with my 2014 Spark. I replaced my battery with a new one but the ski fails to charge it and it will cut off after a hour or 2 of riding. Charge the battery and it starts right up again!
Just saw your answer , was on the second page. There are many wires , I see no obvious breaks after pulling the top off.
