Hello!

I'm from the great lakes (Manitoulin Island) and I'm coming up to 10 Hours on my 60hp spark, Just wondering what weight oil I should be using, 5W-30 seems like it would work but This summer we are lucky to see temperatures above 25C, and the manual doesn't say what ambient temperatures use what oil.

10W-30 seems quite heavy for a engine rev'ing 3000-7000RPM all the time

Also does anyone know if another retailer carries the oil filter? The dealer is 2 hours away. (Canadian Tire, NAPA...)

I've already got some Shell "100% synthetic" 5W-30 at the lovely sum of $11 a quart

From the title alone I was thinking this had to do with the difference in viscosity of maple syrup vs manufacture recommended oil :D
