Does anybody have this installed? I have the shade itself installed but I am not sure where the holder for the shade should be installed. The instructions cover everything but how and where to install the hardware to hold the shade when it is in the bag. Thanks

Is this to shade the Spark from the sun? In case you are driving around pretty casually or just floating out on the water? I can say that I am not really considering one. I just don't see it as being that useful. Wear some water proof sun screen or just jump in the water to cool down.

There are two "ties" installed on the right side of the ski. You slip the rolled up chill shade in there and pull the strings to hold it tightly into place.

Have a look at the attached photo.
I see that thanks for the photo. I installed the shade myself and I was just wondering exactly where to install the screws for those clips/holder in the picture.

It is meant to give you shade from the sun and I have to day it works pretty well. It held on at speeds of 35-40 so I am happy. I will say when/if you flip the ski like I did that past weekend it does get in the way when you try to reboard.

OK guys, here are the pictures of the chill shade.

As you can see, it is a fun item, but a little gimmicky.
- It will stay on up to speeds of 53km/h.
- Gets in the way when there is more than one person.
- It is small, so offers very little shade (depending on sun position).
- It has built in sand bags which are nice.
- When installing it on the beach, it sits pretty low.

PhillayV,
Have you figured out why you took on so much water when you flipped?
I haven't Mark. I was going to take it to the dealer today but they needed to order some parts so it will have to be next weekend. In my thread I did post a video of the incident. Still don't really know why it took on so much water.
