Tis why I moved here from upstate NY 5 yrs ago :) Best decision ever :) It was on a Saturday around 10am. Even on the weekends the ocean side isn't too packed. All the boaters seem to chill on the sand bar in the bay just west of there or go way further out into the water. The video was taken on my 2nd time out with her ever. I just finished her break in period and now I'm ready to go faster I just need a day when the water isn't so choppy. I like flatter water / small rolling waves to go fast on vs big ones for jumping.

Heh its a little uniform looking there with all the condos. I'll sit out there for like 30 min with the engine off and just relax sometimes :)

Looks like Gold Coast Australia , Surfers beach ...

ha ha I wish, then I wouldnt have to surf the constant wind slop we get. To me, Flat water= Boring lol

Nice Vid Straight. Does look very relaxing. Use to love to do that with my freinds when I had my XP. We would stock the front compartment with drinks and subs, go jump waves and then just stop in the middle of the ocean and relax and eat for a bit. Then back to tearing it up :)

I had heard stories about no english South Florida but just had to confirm. Also confirms for me that if I went to south florida, I'd get the same reaction I got growing up in South Texas. I look like I speak spanish but don't speak a word. So when most spanish speakers talk to me in spanish and I answer in white accented spanish that I don't speak, I get the "Oh ok you're one of those hispanics who have forgotten about their culture and are trying to be white." Usually when I detect that I then tell them I'm not even spanish in English and they usually apologize in english.

The extent of my spanish is "Permanecer sentados, por favor"

wow. I am super ****** ass white. ( irish/english/french/native american) i dont look the least bit hispanic and people in south beach always speak to me in spanish first. i speak spanish well enough to get by but I always say to them " i speak english " and then i get a pissed off look and a sigh and they speak to me in broken english. Id never do that to someone in Spain who didnt speak English. oh well. im used to it. seeing half the saturday morning cartoons in spanish on reg channels is a trip

Yeah I don't understand. Miami looks nice and it is the temperature climate I grew up with. But I think I'd have a hard time with the language barrier...that just doesnt sound right, a language barrier in my own country.

But what can you do. It's everywhere. Talking with my in laws who are English Canadians will tell you the same thing about the French Canadians.
