My hull cracked today. I was completely stopped and my buddy turned and hit the front of mine with the side of his where the sponsons are. At about 5 mph...

Yeah it could have been a little faster but not much. I'm going to claim it on insurance that I only have had for 3 days. The crack is 13" long. And the hull is paper thin in that area I was very surprised.

I wouldn't patch it, just for peace of mind.

I used marineRx epoxy repair it was only 40 bucks. Once it cures I will test it out Tuesday and let y'all know how it holds up.

Did you follow the shop manual repair procedure?

No I made my own procedure lol and yeah I got some flat black to spray over it. I mainly just want it to last the summer then I might get a new hull this winter if it doesn't hold up good.
