Soooo I'd like to know how everyone feels about this and if I should say anything.

Today I opened up my spark to replace the intake grill and I was shocked to find 2 screw drivers, a large flashlight an estension and 3 sockets... I had my wear ring and impeller replaced a CPU
Do of months ago and apparently they left all that **** in my ski? I'm a little pissed about it. I also found a few nuts a washers...

How would you fell?

I wouldn't be happy at all!! that could have caused some damage!! I would call them and make them do an inspection on your spark for free! to make sure there isn't anything you missed, I would also insist that a different tech do the inspection! you want to make sure there isn't a screw or something laying beside the fuel tank rubbing a hole in it!! other wise BOOM! There likely isn't anything wrong but it could have easily cause a problem!

not sure why they would have left all that stuff in the hull doing a impeller and wearing? don't have to get into the hull to do that!?
That's what I thought too. When I went in to pick it up at the time they had the whole ski apart. They said they had to replace a small part in the hull. I don't know what it was. But yeah.. I'm pretty pissed. I'm going to go there today and make a bit of a fuss. That stuff would be banging around in there for the past 30 hours I have on the Spark. Clearly at a minimum it is unprofessional .
You couldnt hear all that stuff banging around inside? Just the flashlight alone, I would hear that on a couple turns.
Heh...at least it wasn't the surgeon leaving things behind. Add to your tool box and call it a day.

Yeah you'd think I would have heard it.. Especially when it was this large

Also water seems to be an issue because the tools are pretty rusty

Holy crap! I agree with Wrench4fun. Tell them you want it all fully inspected by a different tech and maybe also have them clean the inside and spray a fine mist of fluid film all over for you as well for the hassle. Good luck. Ya like JoeZ said at least it wasn't a surgeon. My grandfather's surgeon left a surgical sponge in his eye once and a few days after a simple surgery it just started bleeding. Eck.

" They said they had to replace a small part in the hull. I don't know what it was. " ............. it was probably just something to hold the wires away from the engine since that is on the the recall roster.
Nice flashlight. What the heck does the tech need something that big for..a little overkill there lol

I'm headed to the dealer right now. I will post what they say once I'm through.

No it wasn't due to the recall. They did thAt work around May 20... Since then I've put 30 hours on my spark and these tools have been in there the entire time! ... Fack I'm pissed lol ... What would you do Straight?

Maybe the mechanics were stoned. It sounds like a stoned at work type of error. lol .Tell them you want a whole new ski. This one is now tarnished. Who knows what damage could have been done. Hopefully it's fine but can't hurt to turn on the drama LOL. Ask them if you should contact BRP to see if they will give you a different ski due to unknown potential damage. They may crack rather than be reported. Will this work, prob not but its worth a try. Be polite yet assertive. Also imply that large flashlights are usually used by men over compensating for things. Actually that would be less weird if a girl said it, scratch that. LOL. ( sorry, Im in silly mood)
