I am interested in putting together a one day seminar in the fall for people like myself interested in doing their own maintenance. I would like to hire a very good mechanic to teach. Interested in covering issues like winterization, general maintenance, oil changes, impeller change , ibr removal etc. I live on the shoreline in Ct. ,50 miles from the George Washington Bridge, right off 95 . If others in striking distance are similarly interested please respond. Whatever minimal cost might be involved it would be well worth it to avoid shop maintenance costs. I know many people have questioned whether they can do the work themselves.from all I understand the warranty is valid as long as the work is done ,even if you do it yourself and you document. When I hear stories of people paying $400 to have a wear ring changed, I have no intentions of putting my self in the hands of the dealerships for repair or maintenance. I have always found that when I do it myself it's done right and my goal here is to learn how.
