I got this trailer for my 2 Sparks and I love it except that I'm having an issue with the rear tie down points. It only has 1 tie town for each sled right in the center under the jet. So when I strap it down the strap goes right over the jet and I'm afraid of it breaking something or the friction wearing the strap down prematurely.

If you have this (or a similar trailer), how do you tie your sparks down to it?

I have that same trailer with a 2up and a 3up. The trick? Use two straps for each ski. Go around the body, and you won't even touch the drive/IBR. Both hooks in to the ski loop at top, both hooks in the trailer loop at bottom. Holds it great that way...Think < > as that's how they look from the back. There is a body part that the straps will naturally fit to. Snug and secure. Just finished a 1,000 mile trip for vacation---held perfectly and no stress to the drive/brake whatsoever.

Both of mine are in the shop (one lost propulsion, both need handlebars :( ) or I'd take a photo.

Another dumb question - how do you use the nylon strap attached to the winch hook? I see different opinions online. Some thread the nylon loop through the bow hook and connect the winch hook to that. Other people don't. Just curious because I didn't get any user manual for my trailer.

Theres no right or wrong way to use it. Hook or strap through the bow hook is fine..one could argue the the strap that the hook is on is much stronger and this would matter if it is the only secure point on the craft. but if you are tying the back down as well as the front, i say use the strap and put it into the hook. it looks cleaner without the strap hanging.

Mine had a little picture somewhere...right on the trailer as I recall? Look for stickers on the trailer. Shows how it should feedthrough to the ski loop on the bow, in relation to the rubber stop thingy. I put the nylon strap through the ski loop and hook it to the metal winch hook.
