Obviously you don't want to get your phone wet & its good to have on your for emergencies and GPS. I bought this one and love it. You can use the touch screen through it with no problem. It picks up my voice with talk-to-text also.

As far as bigger dry bags for a towel, clothes or whatever in the front department with is clearly not water tight, you can always buy them online, etc. but I find the Ziplock XXL works just fine. I got it at my grocery store. 3 Pk for $7 and it fit my huge book bag ( which I am surprised fit in my front storage )

They have those things at Walmart for $3, as well as larger versions that fit well in the front storage area.

I have 2 of the phone ones, one each for me and my wife, then the big one for keys and clothes. They work great. Kept everything dry even when I flipped the ski.
