a drain would be a good idea, how much of it is filling up?
If you a refering to a hole drilled, that would not be a good idea since it would drain in the engine compartment. after I wash the ski I just take a towel and soak up the water there, clean of the extinguisher and put it back.
usually have a little bit in the tall can compartment ;)

What I'll do is install a small fitting into the bottom corner, run a 6mm hose to side of the ski and let it empty out of a tell tail fitting we use in our pole skis, is neat and will drain into the foot well, prob solved. I know its petty, and I'm lucky cos after I wash mine I tow it up my drive to my shed and all the footwellls empty up the hill

sounds good to me, let us know when you do that, even some pictures of it would be great.
I bought a shop vac to remove water from my pontoon seat storage areas. A good shop vac will dry it completely.
I have one of those kayak bilge sponges. I use it to get the water out of the foot wells as well. Works fine.

Oh no you didnt! >:D
heres how , found 2 stainless tubeless valves, took the valves out, used one of the sdeals and a bit of 8mm hose, the valve is only 2mm above the surface so it drains mostly, and the other is behind the seat so cant even see it.

The output sits higher than the input, do you know what that means? Sorry but i don't think this mod was necessary.
Actually it doesnt, just need a hose with an elbow ,it drains fine
