With the vast amount of sparks popping up on here from south Florida we should set up a big meet soon. What days work for everyone and what's a good meetup place for everyone? Haulover? Biscayne? Hillsboro? Ft Lauderdale sandbar?

I vote for Haulover because it's my marina :) Could always do more than one meet up and pick a different place each time :) The Haulover spot is Beer Can Island right? ( just south west of the marina ) I've heard tales of the place but haven't been since this is my first waverunner and first time out on the water (other than rentals here and there) Is there going to be a name for this crew? Miami Sparks? (with custom bowling shirts included?) LoL. J/K. had to have a little wine after looking at the grand total on my bill of sale from my spark yesterday :)
We should all bring our bill of sales to compare after the ride and whoever got price raped the hardest everyone should buy a drink for :)

Thats a great idea! haha but yeah we can meet wherever and do different places everytime, beer can island is fun and the sandbar there directly east of it is a good time also. The good news is this south florida so there are tons of sandbars and little islands all over the place
Found the thread! Kk I'm gana get the address to the Hollywood location and post it soon!

I'm no where near that wonderful state but I am in for pictures and even video's of the meet, better have a BBQ going!
Go north!!! I'm in Palm Beach, but wouldn't mind the drive down =)....I need to surround myself with individuals that can help me learn about the PWC lifestyle.

Hollywood Marina
700 Polk St, Hollywood, FL 33019
This is a public loading dock and about a 20 min ride to haulover and we pass by Duffy's were you can stop and eat. I'm in the middle of Hollywood and haulover and I normally go to haulover but it's 15$ on the weekends so Hollywood could be a good first meet. Let me know your thoughts guys and galz if any

Yeah that sounds good, good spot to meet maybe go for a trip by the sandbar and back up to duffys for some grub.

It will be awesome to see all the florida folks together once this meet up finally happens!
Seeking - good idea on the BBQ, You said " I'm no where near that wonderful state but I am in for pictures and even video's of the meet... " Where do you live? Are you from S. Fla. originally? :)

Mandoo918 - me too. im totally new to the boating lifestyle other than boating as a child

Wakeskatr72 - i am aiming for anytime the weather looks clear for the day LOL. my spark is at the marina, brand new and still a water virgin.

Mvardi - hollywood beach isn't that far from Haulover area, could def be on the Miami to do list for meet ups.

I think it would be a good idea to have the first meet up at the easiest place to get to and dock at for us first time PWC owners. I've driven then before but only rentals so you are pretty much having your hand held getting in and out and where you are driving.

Maybe Haulover Sand bar or beer can island or just near the haulover marina ramp? Where is everyone coming from? home? where? certain marina?

we need a way to find each other, like have a red t-shirt hanging out of the front of the Spark's trunk? If no trunk then just tie it on? you can get a red tshirt cheap at walgreens or walmart if yo don't have one.

what do you guys think?

If you live in Miami..... " Rain rain, go away, there are some spark owners that want to play " :)

Crap ----> http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/33154

I'm looking to go out as soon as the weather looks clear for the day. Friday? Saturday? Sunday? As of right now the weather looks like crap but you know how quick things change in S. Fla

Yeah weather isnt looking too good for us, its been pretty ugly out all week.
I think the sandbar or beer can island are good meetup spots, their pretty easily accessible for anyone regardless of experience and a pretty central meeting spot.
Lets all meet at beer can. I'm gana be out there Saturday and Sunday. That's my regular spot
Beer can works. If I had to take my best guess., out of Fri/sat/sun. I think Fri morning would have the best shot and sunday the worst for rain. will have to see

personally i should have gotten up early and checked the weather because I probably could have taken it out for the first time this morning before noon. it looks decent now.

I'm with you on that one. Today is actually a nice day. I'm down for a ride tomorrow, wake up early and hit the water

best way to learn how to ride by being around individuals that are already into the sport, which goes for a lot of things these days
