This looks so basic, so im going to ask a very stupid / lazy type of question.... can't you just hold the hose up to where you have to flush it? You would think a PWC would come with it set up to just be able to flush it without having to buy a kit and installing it. To me its the equivalent of saying you have to install something on your car before you can bring it to a car wash. Can you tell this will be my first PWC? lol. Thanks for your input guys

You need a flush kit if your going into salt water. You may not need the factory one, some members have made their own but, it's a must. I choose the factory one and installed it in less than 45 min.

I got the factory one. I'm in brackish water and didn't feel like sourcing my own parts.
