The factory kit isn't worth it. Mine was around $3.00 in plumbing isle parts and what I had kicking around (the quick connect form a spray nozzle, and brass instead of plastic)

Being a new pwc owner, a quick question. When towing a spark, clamping off water line seems like a difficult task while in the middle of a lake. The panel on the left side to be removed and clamping the line without tipping over. Would a homemade flush kit with a plug instead of a female hose adpater or a really long hose above the water work as well. Attaching the hose while in the water seems easier. Any comments????

I thought towing would create a negative pressure and siphon water thru the flush outlet. So the siphoning would occur thru the water intake thru the pump?

Is there an easy way to identify the correct water hose for clamping? The dealer pointed 1 out but not sure if he really knew? The manual shows the hose but not easy to id thru small panel.

It is forward and high.it is near the oil filter. User manual shows it quite clearly. Very difficult to reach from the left hand access opening. I also don't trust that clamping totally shuts off water intrusion. The first time I remove the upper body I am installing a valve.

Need help with location of flush connection. In the manual it shows where it should be, but all I am seeing is a small tube all the way back. Do I need another fitting to flush the skis out?

Yes, you need the flush kit installed. See my post earlier in this thread for a how to.

Yep, my phone sent this...
