Hi all. The last few trips, I've hit 3 very large waves and hit them hard. Each time, the Spark has an audible alarm go off and then the screen flashes "FUEL SENSOR DEFECTIVE".
Now, I THINK that's what it says. I never have enough time to look down to see the first word. "SENSOR DEFECTIVE" is definitely showing up....and then I do a search for it, all I can come up with is FUEL SENSOR DEFECTIVE.
Then, after just displaying the words above, it goes away and doesn't happen again.
If your slamming around I wonder if the fuel float for the sensor is bouncing around in the tank giving the computer wild readings from the tank, thinking that it is defective.
Thanks for all the responses. I have a 2-year warranty on it that just started in May, so when the season is over I'll have them take a look at it (while I get the winterization done).
good idea when season is over for you so your not off the water to long.
I get some big jumps and never a fuel sensor problem I thought I would have had one by now
