It is all ski's are its a safety recall means all sparks will need to be replaced.

Not all. It's per VIN number.

The metal bar was always there because I noticed long ago when I put my mirror clamps on! Its Metal under the plastic outer coating.
The recall as I was told by BRP is for ALL Sparks built in 2014.

I thought one user said he wasn't part of the recall with a Jan 2014 build date. I have Feb and March builds, and both are part of the recall.

Safety first and there are more recalls. Our dealer found it by our VIN numbers. There is a very serious recall with a harness in the engine that if not fixed could result in fire!
We have yet to receive that letter but very glad our dealer is so good they found it and will fix everything in 2-3 weeks so we don;t lose our entire summer!

Ya I fixed mine they just move the harnees out the way . 900cc very simple.

Paula the wire harness issue is a 2 minute fix. Not a big deal at all. Also it is not a safety recall just a service bulletin .
