Hey Guys, New member here from Connecticut.

Going to pick up my 2015 Vanilla 3 up from the dealer this Saturday!

I went to the spark some fun tour last summer when they came to Southampton, and new I needed to have one. I've wanted a jet ski since I was a little child and going for rides on my uncle's 96 XP's.

Will post pictures once I pick it up!

Glad to have you on the forum. Is it warm enough to ride out in Connecticut yet?

Will be happy to see your pictures.

Cheers.
Thanks for the welcome Hunter, I've been a long time lurker here and have enjoyed reading up on the spark and the conversations here over the past year or so, finally pulled the trigger!

I think the air temperature is probably good to go up here in these neck of the woods, while the water still may be a bit brisk. I've been waiting for this day for a long time, and plan on having it out there on the first day if I can! Just may have to take it easy so I don't fall in the drink...

Seaking- Not really no, in past summers I was looking at used Ski's but with nothing in mind. After riding the spark last year, I rented a Yamaha Waverunner and knew what I wanted

Wound up with an Orange one after going to the dealer this weekend.....

I had inquired with a local dealer to get the 3UP Vanilla, he didn't have in stock, but got from another dealer and was ready for me Saturday.
Get up there ~2 hour drive, pay the man the rest, sign the papers, head outside see the ski on the trailer. It looks kind of messy, but it rained the night before and the pollen has been really bad so I said eh its ok. There was a few scratches on the bottom of the hull, but the prep guys insisted it was from regular shipping and nothing to be worried about. I obliged.

Its all set up on the trailer and ready to come home, they filled with gas, all ready to go. I decided I'd do one more walk around of it and give her a once over. Get on my back to check the underbelly, and It had a huge Gouge in it. Id say 1 inch in diameter, and 1/4 inch deep. It was significant

The prep guy was still around and I showed it to him, to which he started using bunch of expletives and took a picture and got the owner.

The Dealership was extremely apologetic about not spotting it, and he gave me two options. Either $300 off the one that was already trailered up, or to see what else he had in stock.

I wound up leaving with an Orange 3UP that had a convenience package. The dealer threw in the convenience package for free for my time which I thought was a great gesture and good business. Wasn't planning on the orange, but when he told me he'd throw in the convenience package, and considering my ride home, it was an easy decision.
