This May I bought a used 2014 spark 3up IBR knee step 29 hours. I was told no warranty as is. You know the deal.
Well today I got a letter from BRP that the extended protection plan was transferred to me.
The BEST will expired May 8 2018 $50 deductible.
That was a very nice surprise.


Has this happened to anyone else on here? You bought a used spark the you get a letter from BRP saying you have BEST warranty?

That's great. But will it cover anything ? I tried to make my first claim against an extended warranty (something I never purchase on principle, but given that the Spark was a brand new model, I thought it prudent to insure against the risks of a new design) and they would not cover.


They made some bogus claim that the cause was a wear item. Nothing should be worn after 20 hours of normal use. I think they make excuses for not covering things more often than not.


Hopefully you wont need to use it.
