If You Have Squeaky Handle Bars Are You Also On The Recall List?

I'm wondering if there is a correlation between the two. I'm not concerned about my squeak that comes and goes and I am on the recall list.

Just wondering ...

We have 31 hours on our 2 and the squeak has been gone for a while now. We are on the recall list and have no idea when our dealer will receive the new steering parts. We rode about 3 hours today and are still having FUN.
Thanks. Good Lord, these steering parts are taking forever to get to the dealerships!

I rode 3 hours Friday with the New bars and they did not squeak and turned from side to side easier than before. I would keep bugging your dealer because some dealers Do not go put of their way unless you do?
thanks for the update on the new handlebars Sarge. I didn't even have them order my new handlebars for the recall yet. I'm at 15 hrs and going to have it done when I go in for my 50 hr service. So I guess I'll have them order around 30 hrs with how long it seems to be taking everyone else to get them!

You Do Not Have to tell them to order the Replacement Bars? It should be automatic according to VIN #? If you get a recall notice call them and make Sure yours are on order!
I only say this because of your prior posts about your dealer?
You paid Premium $$$$ for that Spark and you deserve Decent service-Do Not accept anything Less?
Thanks. I had called them today to see how long it takes for the handlebars to come in. They said they don't know it's up in the air. I asked if I could order them now for when I'm ready to have my spark serviced and they said they would be long gone by then and that it's first come first serve with what they have and get in. They said they get some in and whoever shows up for bars first got them. They said they don't automatically send bars with my name on it waiting for me because I could be getting this done at another dealer for all they know and the only way to secure some for my ski is to let them know when I'm ready to come in and they will order for me and when they come in they will call me to set up the appointment so I can get them but I would have to come in ASAP to get them or they go to someone else ....so I'm just going to tell them I am ready to come in about 20 hours before I really am LOL. you will have to excuse my grammar on that one I am tired and I know that is full of run-on sentences LOL

My handlebars squeak and I am not on the recall list. I have yet to try to spray anything on them to stop the squeak. I really don't hear them when I am moving fast around the lake.
squeak and not on the recall list. i guess its not at all related then. thanks PPIJAY
