I think my 2015 spark has developed a leak. My 2015 for the last little bit always has a little bit of water in it after every ride it's never been anything crazy so I just let it be. Well today while inspecting the hull after our ride I noticed the seam between the ride plate and the intake grate has a steady drip. My 2014 right beside it is dry as a bone, as it should be since it was trailered down the highway for 10 minutes. Anyone else get any leaks. I think mines been leaking since day 1 as I have always noticed a little bit of water when I pull the plug. It's so minor I'm going to leave it until the end of the season. I added some pics of the drip.

Very little maybe a water bottle cap full. But it's hard to say how much actually leaks in because they never sit still. The go from the trailer to play then back to the trailer so the Venturi pump is always running.

After a full day on the water I'll get a little bit less than a water bottle cap full of water. I checked and I can't find any spot of leak like yours. Can you check for water intrusion via the access panel? You should be able to sea some mark left from dry water.

I looked around and don't see much water collection. I see some spots in areas that I would expect, like by the engine access ports. Like I said the amount of water doesn't really have me concerned it's the drips from the ride plate. Now it is quite possible that it's collected water on the ride plate but my 2014 on the same trailer beside it is dry. Maybe I'll just keep an eye on it.

I'm not too too worried. Like I said the amount of water is so little I wouldn't want to risk loss of season over it. So I will keep an eye on it and if it doesn't get worse maybe I'll bring it in the fall.

Same Leak

I noticed I had a heavy leak this weekend when tied up at the dock overnight on one of the Sparks. One was dry the other with water up to the top of the engine mounts. All the water evacuated when driving by the venturi bilge. When I got it home I filled it with a garden hose to the same level to check for leaks outward. Mine is leaking in that exact same spot as you pictured. first wasnt leaking until i tapped around with my hand and then it started running out. No leaks on either ski last year. I tried to take grate loose for inspection but that is a no go until the top is removed to get to hold the nuts on the inside. The bolts on the bottom spun with only moderate effort... not tight in my mind. Will post you what type of seals I find to repair for a fix.

Yeah, let me know. Mine is hardly leaking right now. If it's easy enough I might attempt it but if not it'll go to the dealer at the end of the season. That's one thing I don't like playing with is seals and the hull.

Yeah that video isn't really the same thing. We are seeing water dripping almost an hour after. The only thing that makes me question it is I always have a little bit of water that comes out my drain plug after every ride. Not a lot but there must be a small leak.

Could the water coming out of the drain plug be from remaining water from rinsing the bilge after a previous ride? When I drain the bilge there is always some that gets left in as it all doesn't immediately drain of the components to the drain plug. Maybe during your ride, remaining water was thrown off any holding spots to the bottom where it could then drain when you took the plug out after?? Not sure about this so I wouldn't rule out a leak either....

I ride fresh water I don't rinse the bilge. I thought at first it could have been splash from more aggressive riding, but I get the same amount of water every ride.
