This. It's free to doLoop it through your vest strap/buckle?
This^Don't matter if it looks right, aslong as it pulls when you fall off!
You could put a stainless key chain ring on one of the loops that holds the straps in place on your vest, then just clip the lanyard to it, I use one on my vest to attach a whistle. The Lifevest I just purchased do not have the D-Ring to attach Lanyard.
Can I get a good wrist strap that will attach to Lanyard?
thanks
good idea....You could put a stainless key chain ring on one of the loops that holds the straps in place on your vest, then just clip the lanyard to it, I use one on my vest to attach a whistle.
I used to use a wrist strap but with the floater on the end of the lanyard (as opposed to the key like older seadoo's) I found it was always bouncing off my knee or the plastic of the seadoo, I just found it annoying...
the only thing is the straps are about 2 inches wide. how big are the D-rings?You can also buy D rings. I bought a bag of 10 for under $5 on the web last year. put the D ring on a strap on the life vest.
That D ring has no way to get on an existing strap, except to thread the strap through it. As long as that is your plan, you're all set.i just found these...should work fine.

yes that is the plan...Lowes has the metal d-rings, but Lowes doesn't have any in stainless steal or plastic. That D ring has no way to get on an existing strap, except to thread the strap through it. As long as that is your plan, you're all set.
I have some 1" straps that run vertical on my vests that the horizontal straps run through, these are 1" wide and sewn on the vest. I used this kind of d ring and a couple pair of pliers to install:
