I think that when this comes out that if people use it with there sparks they could make such awesome videos and I am really excited to see what people do with it.

This is the website for the Lily camera: https://www.lily.camera/

If you don't know what the Lily camera is or what it is used for here's a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vGcH0Bk3hg

And here's a picture of it with the remote: http://odditymall.com/includes/content/upload/lily-flying-drone-camera-follows-you-around-8631.jpg

That is soooooo cool.....I WILL get me one of those for Christmas, to me from Santa....that's way better than the GoPro (well, for certain instances) :)
I know and the best part is that it is waterproof and can take off from the water.
Want.
They are $300 off right now if anyone is serious about buying. Just go to the website and hit preorder on the top right.
Looks cool but I see some negatives.

How fast can Lily fly?

Max speed: 25 mph/40 km/h (software limited)

How do you figure that Lily lasts 20 minutes? What constitutes normal usage?

This is at an average speed of 15mph. Flight time will vary between 18 minutes and 22 minutes, depending on how you use it.

How much time does it take to recharge Lily’s battery?

2 hours for a full-charge.

So it looks like only filming donuts and tailstands for 20 minutes then a 2 hour charge.

You're going to see those issues with most FPV Drones anyway, the major win for us PWC people is the fact that it is water proof. Most drones have completely exposed electronics.
That thing is brilliant!!! But, in my case, I can't see myself using it enough to justify the price.

Maybe, if a bunch of us lived near other, we all pitch in and share it.

I would have loved to have that camera about 2 weeks ago when I was lucky enough to ride with 3 dolphins within 10 feet of me for about 25 mins. They were checking me out, swimming under me (I was over a huge sand bar that was 6' deep at high tide with crystal clear water for much of the time), all around and even jumping out of the water. The Spark was only moving at idle speed of course! Good times!
That thing will be a big seller for sure. Just like the go pro the lily will be made better and better! It's already awesome!!! Little pricey but the price will come down in a few years. Long wait for me though :-(
I'll pre order one.. i just watched a video of a tripod that can mount a camera and follows the tracker.. with zoom features on the right cams even.. it was great. this is better. I wonder how it would do above the sea doo following it around though, it seems awesome!
Awesome! I was hoping someone would buy it. I have a parrot ar drone 2.0 and want to try it with the sparks this weekend if the weather is decent. Hope you enjoy the Lily:)
The company is sending me a promo model next month, I will have to bring it out on the ocean and show you all what it can do with the Spark!
