First off I love my sparks! I have two that I picked up Friday. The only issue is that 1 of the two I have had to put coolant in it after an hour of riding. The temp light came on and check engine. I then checked the level and it was not on the bottle at all. I'll admit I never checked it from the dealership but any ideas? Anyway I filled it up and rode for 10 min and all is fine. Guess I'll ride tomorrow and check it again.

I'm worried that if it was low from the dealership I would think the temp light should have came on sooner. So if I have a leak where would I look for it? Or do I just run it back to the dealership.

Btw, the 90hp 3 seater is fast, maneuverable, and a blast!!!

I would continue to monitor before bringing it back. It might have been on the edge of too low from the get go.

Mine was low on coolant when I picked it up. I topped it up to the level marker and it's been fine. I have heard some other Sparks have been low on coolant from the factory. The dealers are no doubt supposed to check it but obviously it's forgotten sometimes.

Is there a brand Sea doo recommends? I know it's a low silicate long lofe (similiar to toyota's perhaps??) but, wondering what's THE match to top off? coolants today are NOT alike! And the All makes/all mix isn't a great idea w/ composite/aluminum engines/parts...just wondering?

BTW. mine is Full+, even afew drops spilled from oveflow and I didn't turn my machine over, but oil looks just "ha;fway" between full/add lines.. go figure...

Oh, My dealer "forgot" to prep mine! battery wasn't hooked up and the warranty paperwork/delivery checklist was still sealed under the seat, etc., - back it went for the proper prep and a $100 gift card for my time/fuel... told sales mgr "if I'm paying $495 freight/prep, I want $495 OF both!" Then it came back washed/detailed nicely too...dealers UGH!!

Yes, your operators manual will have the details: "Long Life Antifreeze, part number 219 702 685. I don't live close to my dealer so I ordered some online.

one of my sparks was losing coolant. Took it back to dealer and they found leak around water pump. The pump has both long and short bolts holding it on and factory had put a long bolt in one of the short holes.
