Wifes Spark has Maintenance Required in display. Came on at 50 hours.
Having trouble with my service manual, any ideas what this is and how to reset it?

I did find in service manual, definition is watercraft needs maintenance. Duh, same thing it says on display.
I have serviced oil and filter ahead of schedule. Have not noticed any issues.
Guess we will just run her til she gives a fault code.

If you are doing your own maintenance just ignore it!

Thanks Sarge, I was thinking same thing. Several inspect items at 50 hour interval. Guess they want you to spend money with dealer for that. First service not due until 100 hours, guess they will say same thing at 100.

Maintenance and change oil idiot lights are for those folks who don't do any maintenance and the only thing ever added is fuel.

As long as you're following the manual schedule you should be fine.

Wish was there was a way to reset these lights besides dealer and vtech. Qsn't considering getting a vtech until about a year out after May 2015.

This is so true, same goes for just about anything with an engine.

Mine came on at the 50 hrs mark as well....but I've done all my maintenance so I ain't worried about it....although I did call my local dealer to see what they'd charge to reset it...try $110 as they charge by an hour rate...nothing is a 30 minute job or even a 15 min job...so I'll let my stay on until the 100 hr maintenance or unless I by a Vtech before the 100 hrs is up....my plans are to get the Vtech over this winter...and I'm only about 70 hrs on mine now and summer is almost over for me here in Georgia... :(

When/if you bring it to your dealer just ask them to disable the reminder or set it to something ridiculous like 900 Hrs. I haven't seen it yet on my spark, I think the dealer did it for me.

I have the dealer software and i dont think that is possible, but you can "do the maintenance" like tick off that you have done the maintenance.. But that will show on your ECU on the SKI and i think that will woid warranty (?) Atleast here in Norway it will.
