I would bet they forgot to reset the light.

Maintenance required??
Just before launching it to the sea, i powered it up to check that everything was working. Then i got the maintenance required message, it was at 47.00hrs.
The dealer did service when it was at 39. 45 hrs. Is it possible that they didn't do the service? I had a really hard time getting it started first time thus season. But i know they changed the handlebars(recall) so someone has been working on it. And, when i put it on the water and got it started, the message disappeared?? Little later it came up again. Oil level was at minimum, engine was not at operating temp, and it was laying on a platform on the back of a boat. Maybe the dealer forgot to reset the "maintenance reminder"?
