That sounds alarming. Also this thread has been moved to a more apt section.

No indication what so ever of any correction.Probably not, but maybe the new part is the same design of plastic but is plastic coated metal? Just a thought.
Or maybe the have found issues with production during a period of time and are replacing those parts.
I myself have two sparks and have beat them pretty hard and jumped plenty of wake and waves with No issues what so every. One unit has 20 hours other is around 30
Why not just keep the cap off in that case. The Greenhaulk forum has an alarming number of new cracked handle bars being reported. The fact that they are being covered on warranty is irrelevant.
Sea Doo is replacing one critical faulty part for another faulty part. Better check
under the cap regularly to avoid a serious injury.i can't believe they are sweeping this under the rug . This will come back to bite them.
Look like they are still not done with whatever they are doing. What's with the new phone layout. It's impossible to get around the forum
+1 couldn't agree more, it's not a good feeling wondering if your going to smash your head into the bars at any time.Problem is, although we think that there is allot of people breaking them and it's a cocern. BRP seems to have a diffrent outlook. If the 2015 comes out with a new design before a recall is done on ours I will be highly upset with BRP.
Don't get me wrong, I havent had a problem with mine but, I am sure it's in the back of everyone's mind when they ride and that's not what we need to be thinking of when hopping on our ski.
that would indeed be a big piss off and it's best they take care of the issue, but seeing how they're getting close to or are already shifting into 2015 mode they need to hurry up with the recallProblem is, although we think that there is allot of people breaking them and it's a cocern.
