I got the idea from you lol! What camera do you have? And dose yours hold up well?

The camera is a Oregon ATC9K Camera 1080 takes fairly good videos

I also added under the front plastic cover a piece of rubber hose just get some 1/4 inch hose cut it long ways once it split just put over bottom lip and this will take out the vibrations .

Unfortunately any camera is going to low to get any good shots I have tried with mounted to a helmet and waves that are 6 to 12 ft still look 3ft

Where are you getting the pole that sticks out that you clamp the stuff to? And which gopros are people using? Thinking about getting one myself, even though I have no skills worth shooting...

It's just a peace of 20mm plastic bar
Once you take off the cover off you can use the holes in the cover to mark and drill the bar then stainless screws
This way you drill no holes in the ski still original for warranty
