New 2014 still available

I've been lurking on this forum for quite a while now and have pretty much convinced the wife it's time to pull the trigger. Her demise was sending me on a trial for Father's Day.

I stopped by one of the dealers in my area today and found he still has 2 new 2014 model year units available (I'm just looking for 1 at this point). I was pretty shocked to find out that any '14s are still available new and that they have a pretty attractive rebate. Ok, so I'm ready to buy...any reason I would want to go with the 2015 model year and forego the rebates?

Details- both 3-up, bubble gum. 1 with IBR, 1 without.

Get the iBR, best feature they have.

As for Bubble Gum color, that maybe why they have a couple left. Don't see many out there.

I have not heard of any differences in the 2015 short of fixing what the recalls fix on the 2014s
I do not have IBR on my skis, I did not see a reason to spend the extra money just for neutral and a brake. The skis slow down fast enough in my opinion without a break.

Save yourself the money and dont get the IBR. Adding the IBR was smart by seadoo just a scare tactic by seadoo marketing to say that if you do not have a brake, you will get injured or die.... And we all know, scare tactic marketing sells (but not for me, I am in the marketing field)

I bet if you told your dealer you are willing to take both of them off their hands, they would give you a really good deal for the second ski. Just gotta know how to negotiate

I agree the IBR make the spark a whole new level of fun. Splashing around with the trim if you decide to add it. Smashing the brakes and burying the nose, being able to use neutral. It is not required for safety but it sure is nice to have. It's the one feature that can't be added after the fact so it's one you want to think long and hard about. I had the same debate when I bought mine but I'm glad I got it now.
