I don't own a Spark yet but I probably will in the near future after getting a chance to ride one yesterday. I'm helping a friend build his for closed course racing so I'm planning on posting some how to videos and have some actual radar gun data for everyone. I'm hoping to offer some of my own performance parts too. Here are a couple pictures of us breaking in his new H.O. Spark yesterday on the Mississippi River since it was the only body of water that we could find that isn't frozen over.

Great to hear that you are going to be getting the Spark soon. Were you at a test drive event, or did you borrow a friends?

Let us know when you put your order in. It'll be great to have another owner on the site!

I'm a neighbor to the west, SD; I was wondering what your recommendations were for riding in the cold?

I want to get my break in somewhat dealt with and plan on going to a lake not this weekend but next, don't know what I should wear exactly, and in my past riding experiences getting soaked is always what happened; recommendations?

It all depends on whether or not you want to get wet and your riding experience. I've been riding for almost 20 years so I knew what I could do without getting wet. Saturday my goal was to stay dry while still having a little fun. So I just wore jeans, sweatshirt, jacket, tennis shoes, and a hat. I was able to stay mostly dry except I soaked one foot when I had water come into the footwell.

If I was planning on getting a little more wet, I would have worn my Jet Pilot full wetsuit and the rest of my riding gear. But I don't think I would have been able to stay out too long if I got soaked even with my riding gear on. It's hard to ride and get wet when the air temp was 55 degrees and the water temp was probably 34 degrees without a dry suit.
