Just purchased my spark this passed Saturday. I went with the White HO 2 up model base. I have already ordered the storage compartment kit for the front. For the price this thing kicks ass! I had people talking crap saying it was gonna be slow and no fun, I let them ride it and they are all hooked now. Have put about 3.5 hours on it so far and have zero regrets on the purchase! Enough talk here are some pics.

My dealer wanted $300 to install a flush kit!

Went to lowes 15 minutes and $15 later I made my own.

Nice Storm Trooper Spark.

I was ignorant at time of sale. I ended up paying $42 each for a SeaDoo flushkit and then $50 each to install x2 for two sparks. Which amounted to $200 approx.

$300 for one? Serious dealer gouging. I like the DYI setup you did.

He said the Seadoo kit was $35 and they had to remove the jet pump in order to screw in one of the mounting screws. Then he said he would cut me a deal and do it for $100 I still laughed. Labor is $120 at Sunsports in Fort Myers, Florida. Ridiculous.
I'm sure plenty say "Yes do it up" because most people figure they're into for thousands, whats a couple hundred more!

Nope I went completely base, they wanted $500 for the convenience package lol. What parts have been proven to benefit the bike powerwise aside from the Vtech tune? Would like to be able to get it to 55 mph.
I went base 60hp as well. The dealer offered the manual brake kit but I declined that too. I did spring for the depth sounders however. I did buy the front cargo containers and told them I would install myself which took all of 30 minutes to do for both Sparks including clean-up. $80 for fold down step was too high to pay.

For the 60hp I think the Vtech tuner is the best bet as it basically gives you the Sport mode and brings you up to the Spark HO. Then if you want you can try the higher HP tunes. Lot's of other go fast pieces to buy out there but I've played the Fast and Furious game 15 years ago and not so easily convinced by +5hp gains etc...plus I don't have a crew of Boys to show off all my go fast stuff to anymore. if anything I'll be splurging on at least a vtech tuner and one license next year. Wish they weren't so expensive though. I understand why. Just wish the vtech package was $350 like the tuner for my Jeep.
welcome to the forum, sweet truck and sea doo combo you have their!

My bad I went with the base model HO. I have the 90 horse one without any extras. I ordered the storage compartment because there is absolutely no storage on this thing minus the small compartment by fuel tank lol. Anything I should know before installing my storage kit when it arrives?

Ya the tuner for my truck only cost me $460 (I get them at cost). $900+ for the vtech tuner is pretty high.

If you had a 60hp, the vtech would be a way better purchase. As is, most people are finding very little gains with the after market parts. I'd ride it stock for a while, you might find you save yourself a couple thousand realizing how fun they are as is. I really find it hard to believe this particular model is more fun at 55 than at 50. I find it most playful at 35, as far as wake jumping, spinning 180s, etc.

Only been on 2 lake runes so far, cant wait to get it on the ocean. Youre right, the tricks and turns are the fun part, but everyone loves a high speed run once in a while lol
Very much agree. With the base 60 I average around 23-29mph on the Chesapeake Bay. Anything faster requires calm water to be really fun. I like high speed runs. Would be nice to do a tail stand once and a while and maybe pull the nose higher on a full throttle squeeze from full stop which I understand the HO will do? Other than that.........is that worth a $1000 bucks? I'll see in a year, maybe.

I cant keep mine in the water with the power it already has off the line, takes a while for it to smooth out and really start movin. I cant imagine what another 15-20 hp would do lol
Welcome aboard !!
