So I was just riding along in the middle of the lake, and started to hear a knocking noise. Shut it down and didn't see anything in the intake grate so started it back up and limped it back to a dock for a 2 minute ride if that, all while knocking at 1-2 mph Took this photo....

looks like you had something in there, impeller boot is damaged, impeller you may be able to clean up, wear ring will likely be toast, I could give you prices but it will be in Canadian dollars, shouldn't be any more than a 1.5 hour job, someone that knows what they are doing likely could do the job in less than an hour but I would sooner have someone take a little bit of care doing the job for me.

Kinda looks like you had a rock larger than what could pass through the impeller. I'd pick up a SS wear ring and impeller. Be sure to check the hull real good when the pump is off.

my Note2 sent this...

It looks like the blades wore into plastic if you look at the pictures also it looks like before the wear ring there is a ring from something being thrashed around...... Is this common or is the hull trash?

My Observation is You should have felt a severe vibration in the pump area which would have certainly Got your attention unless you had hearing difficulties?
When you hear Pump Vibration you can Usually get back home if you do not exceed 2,800 RPM,s or 4-5 MPH. If you choose to Power thru the terrible vibration your on you Own?
