Picking up my new spark at the dealer today. Shorts marine in Delaware. The have bunch more sparks in stock. Btw I want to say like 18 total. Most are 3 up base. I got a 2 up with the storage and IBR. They still have a couple of 2 up with IBR I think.

wow, you can't get them in Miami anymore. congrats. I know how exciting it is to get that delivery! congrats!

before you get her wet for the first time i suggest spraying the inside of the engine compartment with fluid film and making sure the wires are not touching the side of the engine. you can do both just by popping off the left side panel.

enjoy!

Yay! :) You got your registration numbers already? It took me about three weeks to get them in the mail from motor vehicle after my spark was delivered.

Bought 2up basic Thursday. Blk/Wht. Ridenow Peoria Arizona. There has been a waiting list. Dealer will get a few more in a couple weeks, that will be the last of the 2014's. 2015's will have the price increase.

Is spraying inside w/ff for saltwater ops?

Waiting for holiday crowds to leave. First runs will be in a couple days.
Will break in engine as recommended by Motoman - ride hard and full throttle!

Spark first ride yesterday at Lake Pleasant. 2 minutes to get out of no-wake zone, figured it was warmed up, then FULL THROTTLE. Did many full throttle accelerations 5-35mph to break in properly.
Because my 2-up is 60hp basic, it's probably equivalent to giving an HO half-throttle.

Heh. I was like 35 is full throttle? Ya kinda like giving my HO (heh hoe) 2/3 throttle. Honestly you don't need to go over 35mph unless you're looking to get thrown off . 35mph feels much faster on the water than driving a car :) You are lucky your no wake zone until you can play is 2 min. mine is about 18 min until i get out of that slow poke area and into the ocean.
