Just got a 3up pineapple spark. Can't wait to ride it! Any suggestions on break in time or how to properly do it? I know the Manuel says 5 hours but I've seen people saying around 10 hrs? Thanks

I'm doing 10hrs and then will take it up the butt and bring it to the dealer for the first oil change at 25hrs. I don't want to give them any angle to deny any claim if I ever need something.
Just don't run it full throttle long and don't bounce it off the rev limiter. I have 3hrs on mine now and its sooooooooo boring doing a break in.

i dont think you need to baby it

ride it like normal

but i agree i wouldnt be bouncing it off the limiter or running it WOT for long periods of time

but apart from that. go nuts.

varying speeds is key, no entended idle nor extended WOT, brief full throttle (WOT) acceleration NOT from idle is good, then close the throttle...do several times during break in to seat the rings...modern engines break in nice if you just dont abuse. Watch the weight limits of pasengers too....easy..and keep eye on fluid levels and temps especially during break-in
