Anyone here have an OEM cover and use the zippered opening at the rear to strap down to a trailer? The opening on my 3up is too high, so when I go to strap it down it really stretches that opening and the entire cover. It fits perfect otherwise, so I'm a little perplexed as to why Sea Doo would have designed it this way?

Yes the 2015 cover is like that. The cover I got in 2014 fits perfectly. Don't ask my why it changed, must have changed suppliers. Now I strap them down and put the cover on after because of this.

I tried strapping it down first, but I use pool noodles on the straps to prevent scuffing, so the cover doesn't fit snug because of that. I noticed a lot of flapping on the highway which I presume is from air getting inside the cover around this area, so I'd prefer to have the cover on first and the straps on top. Sucks to spend this kind of money on the good OEM cover and it not work as advertised! I guess I'll try calling Sea Doo.

I use the sea-doo straps that have rubber sleeves that protect the spark from chaffing, no need for noodles. The cover fits perfectly overtop of the straps. But yes I agree, the 2014 cover is perfect why couldn't the 2015. Another weird thing I noticed is the colour strips on the front of the 2015 cover are backwards of the 2014, just another thing that shows maybe a supplier change.
