I removed the rear deck today haven't rode it yet though. Probably test it out on Sunday afternoon.

Why not? I wanted the 2up and the wife wanted the 3up so the only difference in the bottom hull is the extended rear deck. I want it to stand up easier for tailstands. Good thing is if I don't like it off 12 bolts and its right back on.

I didn't notice a huge difference but so far I like it better. It seems to have less drag and be more nimble. I'll give it some more testing before I decide the outcome.

I my state a 3 person device is required for towing, I was actually going to look and see if I could buy the 3up hull sticker for my 2up

I have notice another small difference in the 2up and 3up. The nozzle angle on the 3up is angled down more where the 2up is angled more upward.

I'm going to take my new 3 up out a few more times before I do this. I figure I could judge better later. Is there still a provision for the rear step? With the cover off. And will a two up seat fit a 3up spark. Want a black seat anyway.

How is it compared to the 2 up now? Is reboarding from deep water easier?

Is it more stable with heavy person? Thanks

ok I ordered all the pieces to make my 2up a 3up waiting for parts, also going to aqua-performance to install a real reboard step on my spark.. pictures coming up!
