Hi All,

I've recently got a Seadoo Spark 2up and have used it a few times now (UK) on both fresh and salt water.
I've been following the after ride care guidance: cleaning/flushing/spraying etc. I took off the right knee panel where the safety kit should be out of curiosity and noticed a component of the steering mechanism was rusting - see photo.

I tried to clean it off and sprayed it with the brp xps spray, is there anything else I should be doing? has anyone else had this issue?

thanks

I think it's normal, mines like that to. If it get really bad I would probably have bought a new one. It costs 15$

Mines like that as well, wouldn't worry. My hook in the rear is also rusted. Always kept inside and always on fresh water ha.

I've never checked out the steering ends very closely but now I definitely will. Need to make sure they get some oil on them after rides. Thank you for pointing this out.
