If you haven't been here before its one of the better spots for messing around in the surf. To get to waitpinga its a 15-30 min ride from the boat ramp at victor harbor (depending on conditions).

Was thinking either this weekend coming or 23/24th or 30th

With hindsight today would have been great. There was a decent swell at seaford so im guessing it would have been pretty big further south.
