Call me stupid but I have messed the sequence up several times when flushing.
So use to running water before and after with other marine engines that I subconsciously reach to turn of engine first. Hope it takes more than a few seconds to flood engine. The only fix I have tried is run the engine, cool it down and redo the flushing.
