Looks like the Spark will be getting its own racing series next year...

Is this for serious or more just for fun? I would enter as long as I'm not competing against pros. Good for the Sea Doo Spark! If the racing series takes off it will do great things for the Spark's sales.

Probably more for fun, could even be just for a professional series of low output sea-doo's.
Even that should be fun, at least you won't have to wait a while to max out your PWC.

No in all seriousness the spark is a fantastic platform for PWC racing, the fact that its so easy to access the internals will make it a winner. Can't wait to see all the crazy cams that will go along with this...

Being all of those things you mentioned, it will be popular for modifying if people actually want to do that.

I would just throw a turbo on it for fun

Small but probably packs a serious punch, something serious enough for what it's going into.

In a wheeled vehicle torque works against the road surface, but in water what does it do...

I wish there was a power chart somewhere to show you but I believe a turbo for example would help with low end torque making it VERY fun in the low speed range.

id imagine lots of low end torque would help with the acceleration

just like in a car.

Torque helps low end punch. More torque means you can spool up more prop earlier to load the pump. The faster you load the pump the quicker it accelerates.

I hear there is a larger pump in the works for the spark. I believe a 12 vein instead of a 8 vein
