140Hp is crazy, that's more than what some cars put down to the wheels which is sad, instant bragging rights.
man for a tune and all the extra parts you need to get its gunna cost well over $5K its not really worth it for a budget water craft unfortunately

Yeah it's not for everyone. At least someone who is just starting out can start with a cheap PWC and can have the option to add more power if they feel that's whats needed. but of course you'll want to make it a long-term sea doo to make the most of your money.
The Spark hasn't even been out that long. I think in a few years time we will have lots of options for upgrades. Maybe even engine swaps kits, internal upgrades

But without a doubt the flash is a great value for the Spark

Its affordable and you get a nice power boost out of it.
We will, we might even see more turbo kits.
At least for now someone jumped on the idea and made one available quickly.
It sure was smart business to come out with this turbo kit first. 5k is pretty steep for a turbo upgrade when the Spark already is 5k. I wouldn't mind a less powerful turbo kit that cost less. Is that possible?
if you're seriously considering a turbo kit and tune for your spark i suggest looking into the Sea Doo GTR 215. Its a 215 horse, 1.3L supercharged 3 cylinder... $13K

Definitely good to consider other higher end models that will end up costing the same in the end. Definitely got to look into this.
No no no no no no no!!!

The mindset of the typical watercraft enthusiast today just isn't aligned with the reality of the old school hard core rider.

The type of person who would spend the coin on a turbo kit for the spark, for the most part, wouldn't even look at the GTR. Or any other current offering for that matter. These guys are still riding stand ups, Blasters, Xi's, and almost certainly some type of X4 hull. They want a motocross bike on the water and NOTHING else currently offered from ANY manufacturer offers that type of riding experience. These are guys who remember when it took more than double turbo kit money to get 25+ horsepower over stock. Seriously!

Now, is the Spark marketed to the "beginner ride"? Of course it is! That's smart marketing. But the beginner rider isn't the one trying to figure out how to get to 50 mph in a second or two. That's guys like me. We've wanted a sub 450lb ski for far too long. Now all we need is more power. $5000 is a freaking bargain!

Just my $.02
