Seadoo spark 3up vs seadoo gtr 215

Video tells all. No replacement for displacement. Of course the GTR is almost double the price. Wonder how it would fair against a turbocharged Spark :)

When turbocharged, i'd like to see that, even with just a VTECH tune it would be interesting.

The debate now is, $500 for double the power on VTECH tune or boost.
Wow the difference is huge between the two. Its not even a competition. I'd consider tuning or turbo charging the Spark. Is it possible to buy a kit to do that? Especially if its just $500, I'd do it in a second.
The Sea Doo GTRs are dam quick

But I also want to see a boosted Spark go up against the GTRs.

Just depends on how much they turn up the boost :D
i think even a lightly boosted one will keep up
It should, plus using mass amounts of boost could really harm the longevity of the engine and it's reliability
noone said you had to have massive amounts of boost

i think the kit already runs it at relatively low boost levels
Might be time to find out how much pounds of boost they set it to run at, would be good to find out.
5psi sounds about right, didn't expect too much, just enough for a nice power boost and low enough to keep it reliable.
if you really wanted to go higher boost you could upgrade the internals of the engine.
but it will be some time before the aftermarket industry starts to pickup and offer more options for engine internals.

And having them custom made by going to a shop you know can get pricey, probably better for a tuning company to do this
