The Seadoo Spark is going to be launched at an event called "Spark Some Fun Miami" featuring a live concert by electronic music artist Deadmau5 9one of my faves). The event will take place on March 23rd.

There will be a prize draw for a 2014 Seadoo Spark with a trailer, and a trip for two to the "Spark Some Fun Miami" Deadmau5 concert at the Fontainebleau Miami beach. Head to Sea-Doo Personal Watercraft, Jet Boats, Parts, Wetsuits, and more | Sea-Doo US to enter.

“We are thrilled to announce this collaboration between Sea-Doo and deadmau5,” said Julie Tourville, Marketing Director, North America for Sea-Doo watercraft. “Spark Some Fun Miami will be an amazing musical event that we feel will truly embody the nature of this product as trendsetting, innovative and the most fun experience on the water today. It’s the perfect way to introduce the Sea-Doo Spark to the United States.”

sea-doo trying to market to the youth again

some of deadmau5s songs are ok.

hes kind of a weird guy though.
Hey I'd be quite happy to see Deadmau5 in Miami, especially if it were for free. I think that this definitely proves that Sea-Doo is attempting to market the Spark towards younger people. I don't think too many people over the age of 35 listen to Deadmau5 (sorry if I just made you feel old or something.)

I always thought it must be hard to perform and it would get so hot wearing that mouse head on stage.

From what i've seen it's true, people in their mid 30's and older just don't listen to music from artists like Deadmau5. Likely this wasn't to appeal to them anyways

at least its not skrillex :p
DO you guys think they should bring on more famous people, maybe someone not from the music business. Maybe a movie actor?
Just as a heads up to people. If you want a chance to win tickets to see Deadmau5 play at this event, the entry period is happening right now. You have to post a picture to twitter or facebook with the hashtag #sparksomefun and the "follow the prompt to enter to win a pair of tickets to the show."

Or you can just go to sparksomefun.com to enter.

It takes place in Florida and I'm guessing they aren't going to pay for your flight though, so this especially applies to those of us who live near Miami.
