Speakers Installation

I have a question in regards to installing some speakers. I saw a guy with some on his ski the other week and they looked/sounded good so I decided to get some of my own. Here they are...

Question I have is, how hard is it to install these? I'm a novice when it comes to working on my Spark for the most part and haven't ever taken the top off. Would that even be necessary or is it a must in order to install these? I'm taking my Spark in to get an oil change soon and I can get the dealer to install them, but if I can do it myself I'd like to save some money and have them installed for the upcoming weekend.

That link is busted. Which thread were you referring to? (EDIT: I figured out you were talking about the thread with your speakers)

I'm mainly just worried about the wiring. Where/how do I hook into the battery?
You gotta take the top off to run the wiring nicely. Connect directly to the battery. Run the wires strait thru the grommet that is used for the factory wiring. I put a switch in my little glove box to turn it on and off.

Might be a dumb question but is it possible to use a fuse tap or Add a Fuse?
I wouldn't if i were you. There is a cover over the fuses that seams pretty sealed up. Also there is no acc in the fuse panel.

Is this diagram pretty much the correct setup or do I need to add a ground wire in as well?

That is correct. But your system may have a 12v constant. The black is the ground.

So I do or don't need a ground wire in there? Sorry for the noob questions. Trying to learn and want to make sure I understand everything before I go messing around.
I'm sure you need a ground.

I thought so too but I've read some things that said you don't if the switch doesn't have any lights on it. Not really sure.
