Hi everyone im vinny and im new to this forum and want to give a big thanks to whoever started this site because i believe its going to be very helpful for me.
I live on long island and i only ride salt water and i love hitting waves with my spark, its what i think about all week at work lol.

i just was looking for some pointers of what i should be keeping my eye on with my new spark.
so far i have replaced the wear ring, my old one is still in good condition, plan on keeping it as a pack up just in case something happens but from what ive heard people were going thru them with in the first 2 hours. i installed my self the riva wear ring and only took me 10 mins, due to i do not have the ibr or reverse, honestly dont see the need for those features being ive been riding skis since i was little without either option
I have little over 8 hours on my ski and ive been thinking of changing the oil after the first 15 its says after 50 but i think that's bs and i see people talking about a wire that rubs on the motor and causes you to blow a fuse come someone give me more info about that wire.
also when i wave jump im pretty wreck less and i honestly don't feel this handle bars are going to last. and im starting to hear a lil squeak in my handle bars.

i know i kinda rambled on for a bit but i was hoping someone can give me a good list on what i should look out for before im stuck in the ocean... takes me 25 mins to get from the dock i launch out at to the inlet i ride at and that could be a bad day if i cant get back in due to choppy waters

thank you to everyone that reads my thread and helps me out

If you ride aggressively you should check under the white steering cover regularly. I would check out the Worg handle bars soon to be released. Are you on North Shore or South Shore?
