So when I picked up my Dealer had the sparks tied up like this, and he brought up a good point if I had to slam on the brakes the wouldn't slide forward. But i've never tied them like this i have always gone over the top and had them set ontop of the little rubber thing that spins. Is anyone else doing it like this? It seems to me that this could cause some hull damage sense it is smashed up against the hull over long periods of time. I also tie the sparks down in the eye in the back as a secondary safety measure. I'm just wondering if i should go back to go over the top and if anyone else is securing them this way.
The dealer is correct. Always have the bow strap UNDER the roller/bow stop. I usually loosen the strap once I get home. Just remember to retighten before your next ride!
Okie dokie, guess I'll continue to do it the way I've been doing it. Thanks guys! Should I have any concern about the presure that roller is putting on the front of the sea doo? I don't think I should concern, maybe just loosen it like Gator does.
